Le passage d'une ancienne version de Microsoft word à Word 2007, malgré les nouveautés ne nous enlève pas l'habitude de sauveagrder les fichiers word au format Word 97-2003. Pour les fichiers sauvegardés sous ce format, l'icône de l'éditeur d'équation est désactivée. Pour le réactiver, il suffit de sauvegarder son fichier au format word 2007.

L'utilisation des fichiers ACCESS 32 bit par lien ODBC sur une machine 64 bit: L'administration des sources de données se fait à partir d'un fichier qui se trouve dans le répertoire windows\SysWOW64 . Le nom du fichier est odbcad32 . il permet de définir ces sources de données pour les accès à travers d'autres programme comme SAS, JMP ou tout autre logiciel ayant accès à ce type de source.
